6 (who?)

Journal Entry: Sat Aug 25, 2012, 5:54 PM

Hello Guys!

It has been a while since my last post. i hope you all are doing great just like I did. I am doing so good in school, I am scoring the best in class and I couldn't be much happier. I am going to pursue this career and won't stop digging and learning. There has been a lot of good news and bad news which involved vehicle accident. That said, I will start with bad news first. Upon driving home from school, the weather gets a little fancy with bright sunlight, and heavy pour of rain. It gets very hazy and foggy. So I drive very slowly and carefully to avoid losing grip, and then I came to the intersection and yield for the oncoming traffic. I waited for a couple minutes... and then when I was about to get in. This oncoming car from behind me just suddenly SMASH my car out of nothing. Then, I got so pissed off not just because the irresponsible driver who hit my car, but knowing that even if you drive very carefully, there is no guarantee that you are safe on the road. It's like either you are going to kill someone or you are gonna get killed. It's just ridiculous and I can't stop thinking about it for like couple days. Even though my rear bumper can be fixed, but at the end I have to be the one who have to deal with the insurance and go through all the hassle of not having a car, not the driver who smashed my car. It's so not fair and it is too damn ridiculous. Can't stop thinking about it. I mean like it's heavy pour, and it is in the intersection and there is a YIELD sign for christ sake. Isn't that there is enough reason to slow down? - and when I asked why would she do this, she told me, "I am sorry, I have to pick up my son and I am very late" and for me that is totally unreasonable excuse. I can only say "Please slow down, you're gonna kill your own son if this the way how you are driving. Late is late, you're not going to change anything even if you arrived 1 minute early from now" - It totally break my heart, I love my car so much. It's my gift from my father for me to commute everyday to go to school, and she destroyed it. I just can't get enough asking why, because it's my car who gets hit, but I have to be the one who have to deal with this. Just ridiculous, if you get what I am saying :/

The good news is that my father really sees how determined I am to be a professional photographer, he really sees how hard I am working in this and he was really happy with my grades. Now, my father really sees who I am going to be and he cut me some slack, so he allowed me to buy a new machine for me to expand my creativity. He allowed me to buy a Nikon D800E. It made me very happy and I couldn't be more happier. It is just like christmas in the middle of summer, and it's my dream to have a professional camera. I can not imagine what it would be like having this camera combined with how I see the world. Please note, I am not trying to show off. I just can't imagine. So far, I've tested it, and shoot a couple or more, and I can only say it is the best machine I've ever had. It's unbelievably tack sharp and colors is delish. :giggle:

I think that's about it - please leave some comments how are you all doing, It has been awhile. I really want to hear from you guys, and while you guys thinking what to write, let's get down the FUN PART!!!! :D

I know how hard for new artists to the get their name recognize to the community, which I can totally relate to myself on when I just started three years ago. It is so hard, until for some people, they must take time to understand how DeviantART works. Since I already know quite a bit how it works, here on my part, I would like to introduce you few artist that I have just found in our delightful DeviantART community that I think deserved to have exposure and thoughts on their page and gallery. So shall we start? :D

Please welcome, a talented nature photographer, Jaclyn Tanemura.
In her wonderful gallery, she has a beautiful collection of nature landscape, waterscape, skyscape and some in different seasons or weather condition. She also has a collection of other nature aspect such as birds and flowers, and all I can say is that her gallery truly gorgeous and I had an awesome experience seeing each of them and I would definitely like to visit her gallery again, and I hope I will get to see more of her works, someday, sometime in the future.

Aw man, bad luck about your car :(
Ehehehe, professional photography eh? That sounds fantastic! What do you plan to do for the future, in this career path I mean?

congratulations - I'm so happy for you :happybounce:.
except for the car bit...that kind of sucks. You'd think people would know better than to speed when it's raining and foggy but nooooo. Hope your car gets fixed soon

Thank you :tighthug:

Yeah, I just don't understand. I kept asking myself why, which I don't get it. I just don't understand what are they trying to prove,
Because to me it proves nothing at all. I wanted to get my car fixed soon, but I don't think I have the time to drop it off and put up
with all the trouble of not having a car. I just can't :(

I know. I think it's this whole idea that as soon as you get mode of transportation with wheels and engine you're pretty much lord of the motorway and everyone else is wrong

That really sucks - do you live far from the school?
StFamous Featured By Owner Aug 27, 2012  Student Photographer
Yeah, that's so true..

It is quite far. The problem is that there is no public transportation from where I live to the nearest train station :|
Not even a single bus that goes there. Even there is a bus station, it takes 2 freakin hour for 1 bus to come, so lulz :giggle:

oh man...I guess cycling is out of the question then ^^;
I think I know how you feel - here the bus you need never comes on time and when you don't need it, five of them all come at once. It's crazy

Yea, pretty much :D

It is sad to hear about you being part of an accident, but I'm glad you're still alive.

People nowadays are getting more reckless than ever. I hope they understand that it is life that they are risking.

But hey, at least you got a new camera! :D
